Pawprints (1): Robin, the family dog
Robin is the family dog, that Max' got as a puppy the same year Max started school, 1991. October is moose hunting season in Sweden, and a favourite time of the year for Robin. He takes no part in the hunting, being very afraid of loud noises, but likes the moose liver. He also likes to eat fish, especially halibut and cod, and dives for mussels in the nearby lake Ören in the summer.
Robin was born 1 July, 1991. He stayed behind in Sweden when we moved to Bruxelles 1997, taking care of my mother in Småland. He has been doing that since then, and nowadays he seems a bit less angry with us when we leave him after visiting. However, he still sleeps in our bedroom, provided that my mother doesn't lock him up in hers of course...
Robin likes to dig holes in the ground and play with balls, even footballs that are as big as he is. And sticks, that he grinds down to toothpick size. Nowadays he sleeps a bit more, adapting to the rhythm of Max's grandparents. But awake he is still the puppy he was 14 years ago. Robin is a Jack Russel terrier, likes to play with kids but tend to be more interested in female dogs than in humans, whom I suspect he find rather boring.
