Pawprints (3): Shilbo the Hannam-Dog

Shilbo lives in a villa in Hannam-Dong in Seoul, and is one of our nicest neighbours. Every time we pass by he jumps up and greets us, paws hanging over the garden wall. You can see he is a smart and kind dog. He is not old, maybe two years, tells Jeff, who rents an apartment in the villa. Both Jeff and Shilbo liked the photo.
– Isn't he adorable? He is very well mannered and loves people to pet him, says Jeff. The only time he looses his composure is when there is another dog around; and especially when the dog is female. It looks like he is photogenic too. He liked the picture so much that he ate the bottom left corner, and when I showed the picture to him, he wanted to eat more!
When the weather is drifting into wintermode, Shilbo likes to be outside. He plays with sticks, or chills on the stone terrace overlooking the garden. His thick fur is too warm for the summer, but now he likes Seoul! When he hears kids he always comes up and greets them over the wall. The kids understand that he is a nice dog, and don't seem afraid at all, even though he is quite big and impressive.
